Traveling south on Route 301, beyond the Route 4 intersection, turn left onto Croom Road (Route 382). Turn left onto Croom Airport Road. Follow Croom Airport Road to Park Entrance Road on the left.

Special Interests (museum, fishing pier, swimming pool, etc.) : The Patuxent River Park manages more than 7,000 acres of natural area parkland. Natural history programs, nature hikes, river ecology boat tours, camping, boating, and canoing are offered here. Patuxent River Park offers fishing piers, hiking and horseback trails, canoe and kayak rentals, boat ramps, campgrounds, the Duvall Tool Museum, and the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Driving Tour. The park hosts a variety of different special events. The preservation of the natural environment and the river’s scenic character are priorities at this site.
